Having been to several Madame Tussauds I wasn't quite sure what it would be like to visit one with children, especially a two year old. Although slightly nervous, I was willing to jump head first and was pleasantly surprised. The kids weren't scared and posed with all the figures. There were several interactive things that the kids could participate in, dressing up like soldiers and being interrogated by Hoover. It isn't a super long exhibit, a perfect length. The kids weren't exhausted or "over it" by the end. The ticket prices aren't too expensive, but it does cost money compared to many local attractions. the benefit of that is that it may be the only thing you pay for on your local DC trip. You can save by going in the middle of the week and purchasing online. It's a fun and unique experience for families, and while a little pricey, with discounts and coupons its a fun time for all.
